Terms of consignment
ALL consignments MUST have a designer label or stamp intact. We specialize in high-end designer clothing and accessories. We also accept fine jewelry and fine watches.
We take items seasonally that are clean, fresh, in perfect condition, and normally no more than two years old. Exceptions to this rule are in general all Chanel, Hermes, Missoni and Emilio Pucci items. We take items by these designers that are more than two years old if they are in pristine condition. Other labels that are more than two years old can sometimes be accepted as well.
Please see how to contact us for valuation of your goods below. We cannot guarantee that we will accept all items that are sent - we make choices based on our knowledge of shopper preferences and our existing inventory.
We prefer items be left with us for three months. However, the merchandise belongs to the consignor until it is sold and can be returned at any time with 24-hours notice. We split the proceeds with our consignors 50-50 once the item sells. An itemized list of all items we have accepted will be sent to the consignor in 3 to 5 business days.
Please note: our merchandisers must review garments in person — sorry, we cannot make judgments based on photos. If you can’t come to our store, you can ship items to us. Contact us here (ledressing@monaco.mc), to learn how to become a consignor with Le Dressing.
We price each item we accept based on our many years of experience in the industry. For some items we agree to immediate payment. You will then receive a fair offer estimate and upon agreement, upfront payment.
Depending on the wishes of the consignor, items may be sent to charity or returned to the consignor at the end of the consignment period. Consignors are paid each month for items sold the previous month.
